Accordium

Fragrance composer & wear journal

A scent, given a shape.

Choose what opens it, what carries it, and what stays behind on skin. Accordium draws the pyramid, takes its colour from the notes, and keeps the whole record on your device.

The app

Build it, wear it, watch the pattern appear.

Most perfumes resist a one-sentence description. You reach for “warm” or “green” and land nowhere near the thing you actually smelled. Accordium turns a fleeting impression into something you can look at, keep, and share.

01 — Compose

The pyramid

Set the opening, the heart, and the drydown, then decide how loudly each note speaks. The shape and its colour come from the notes themselves, so no two fragrances look alike. Finish it as a poster you can save or send.

02 — Journal

Your year in scent

Log what you wore, when, and how long it lasted. Over enough entries Accordium distils everything into a single signature pyramid — not what you say you like, but what you actually reach for.

03 — Lab

Two on one skin

Put two of your fragrances together and see whether they belong on the same skin, or whether one simply swallows the other.

Privacy policy

Nothing you enter ever leaves your device.

Effective date: 26 July 2026. This policy covers the Accordium app for iPhone and iPad.

The short version: Accordium has no accounts, no servers, and no network connection. It collects nothing about you, sends nothing anywhere, and contains no analytics or advertising. Every fragrance, note, journal entry, and poster stays in the app on your own device.

  1. Information we collect

None. There is no sign-up and no account system. Accordium never asks for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, or location, and it does not read device identifiers or advertising identifiers.

  2. How your data is stored

Everything you create — fragrances, notes, intensities, wear entries, dates, ratings, and generated posters — is written to the app's own storage on your device.

There is no cloud database, no remote server, and no account to sync with. We have no copy of your library and no way to obtain one.

  3. No network activity

Accordium works entirely offline. Composing a pyramid, comparing two fragrances in the Lab, and building your signature all run on your device, using only what you typed in yourself. Because the app transmits nothing, there is nothing in transit to intercept.

  4. Photos and sharing

Saving a finished poster to your photo library uses the standard iOS permission prompt, and the image is written straight to your own library. Sharing a poster uses the system share sheet and only ever happens when you tap share.

Once you hand a poster to another app — Messages, Mail, a social network — that app's own privacy policy applies to it. Accordium is not involved in what happens next.

  5. Third parties

Accordium contains no analytics, no advertising networks, no tracking pixels, no crash-reporting services, and no embedded third-party SDKs. Nothing is shared with advertisers or data brokers, because there is nothing to share.

  6. Children's privacy

Accordium does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. With no accounts and no data collection, the app carries no such information at all, in keeping with the spirit of COPPA and equivalent rules elsewhere.

  7. Your control

Every fragrance, note, and journal entry can be edited or deleted inside the app at any time. Deleting Accordium removes all of its local data from your device permanently — there is no backup on our side to restore from.

If you use Apple's device backup or iCloud backup, your app data may be included in that backup. Those backups belong to you and are governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.

  8. Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, the updated text will appear on this page with a revised effective date at the top of the section.

Questions, bug reports, a note that belongs in the library and isn't there yet, or a fragrance you think the Lab gets wrong. All of it is welcome.
